Our goal at College Book Renter is to make your textbook rental experience as easy as possible!

After selecting your textbook, you may choose from three different rental periods. You will then add the textbook to your cart and click on the Checkout button. Now enter your personal information to establish your College Book Renter account. Setting up your account with College Book Renter is easy and free.

Next, enter your shipping and billing addresses along will your payment information. Once all of that has been completed, you will be allowed to review all of your personal and financial information before confirming your order. Once you have confirmed your rental order, you will immediately view a receipt page. The same receipt will be emailed to your account.

You will be able to choose from the following options:

* 130 days from the original order date
* 90 days from the original order date
* 60 days from the original order date

The return date for your textbook will be posted on your College Book Renter account immediately following your purchase and will remain posted on your account throughout the rental period. College Book Renter will send an email reminder 7, 3, and 1 day(s) prior to the expiration of the rental period.

If you would prefer to own your textbooks instead of renting them, then College Book Renter is still the right place for you! Use the search bar to find the textbook you would like to purchase and College Book Renter will provide you with a purchase price for that textbook if it is available. College Book Renter makes purchasing your textbooks as easy as renting them!

Don't forget that you also can sell your textbooks back to College Book Renter! Just click the Sell Textbooks> icon at the top of the page.

If CBR is unable to fulfill an order internally, we will go to one of our partners to find the book you need. We'll notify you by email to let you know that one of our partners is fulfilling your order and your items may not arrive in a CBR package.

If you receive your order from one of our partners, you may find a receipt in the box. This invoice is for our records only and does not reflect the amount you will be charged for your rental. The amount you were charged can be found in the order details section of your account or on your order confirmation email.

At the end of your rental term, remember that even if you received your order from a CBR partner, you must return all rentals to CBR to avoid being charged additional fees.

CBR serves thousands of customers every day, and because of the volume of our orders, we cannot change or cancel your order after it has been placed. You will have the opportunity to review your shipping information, rentals, rental terms, and shipping methods before you finalize your order. Just remember, once your order has been finalized and you receive an order number, the order cannot be stopped or changed. If you receive a book that you do not want or need, you can always return the book for a refund less shipping and handling fees.

We want to ensure that every customer receives the highest quality textbook possible. CBR will not penalize you for minimal highlighting but, please avoid any writing in or on your rental. If a rental is determined unusable because of excessive writing, you will be charged the full purchase price of the rental at the end of the rental term. Protecting the integrity of our rentals helps us save you money.

CBR understands that you might need to return your rental prior to its due date for a refund because your class has been dropped or cancelled. To accommodate these changes, CBR allows you to print your prepaid UPS return label from your account anytime and ship your rental back to us. Please select the reason for the early return. Please refer to our Return Policy for general return guidelines. To qualify for a full refund, your books must be postmarked by UPS within 15 or 20 days of your original order date, depending on the Rental Period you selected at Checkout.

If the book is available for buyback, there will be two payment prices listed. You will see College Book Renter credit and PayPal. CBR credit will be applied directly to your online account and can be used to rent or purchase additional textbooks on CollegeB book Renter. Payment through CBR credit or PayPal will be made after we receive your textbook and a thorough inspection of the book is completed.
