Every photo is individually seen and scored with clear instruction to choose "The CuteKid of the Month" with no discrimination towards gender, race, color or age. Our VoteTracker scoring system tracks every vote from every judge to calculate total votes and statistical rating to select that month's winners for each category as well as the overall CuteKid™ Winner.

All Category Winners are automatically entered into the final judging for the "2011 CuteKid of the Year" award with our grand prize of $25,000 towards College Tuition!

Please understand the judges have a difficult job. Even as professionals, choices are tough and subjective. Judging decisions are final. It's free to submit your photo(s) to your CuteKid member account to be seen by agents, and you can also enter the monthly contest for a chance at great monthly prizes.

The Prize that's won the excitement of the industry and parents alike. All the winners of each monthly category are automatically entered into the "2011 CuteKid of the Year" Contest. The winner receives unique industry exposure, great prizes and a cash investment worth close to $25,000 towards college tuition. Our Contests run on the calendar month. All photos entered within a given month become entrants for that specific month's CuteKid Contest. Our contest rules are intended to offer clean and fair contests where all submitted photos have an equal opportunity of being scored by our industry judges.

Contest Rules and Guidelines:

The Cutest Kid Contest?

1. Parent or legal guardian must approve submission of the contestant's photo(s). By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants TheCuteKid.com (a Parent Media Group, Inc. company) staff the right to publish submitted photo(s), child's name, city, and any captions submitted on TheCuteKid website and/or marketing materials. Slight photo alterations may be made by our staff in order to fit our site or email newsletters properly. To enter a photo into the monthly CuteKid contest, there is a $19.95 registration fee which can be paid by credit card/Pay Pal online. See mail-in submission information in item 10 below.

2. The CuteKid Contest is judged by registered & verified entertainment professionals. Photos are judged with no discrimination towards sex, race, or age. All decisions are final.

3. Photos containing nudity or children depicted in a derogatory or dangerous position will not be accepted. TheCuteKid staff reserves the right to refuse any photograph which they deem unacceptable.

4. Monthly cash prizes are paid in American Express Gift Cards and can be redeemed like cash. TheCuteKid.com reserves the right to provide a cash prize in exchange for a good or service not currently available. The cash prize will be paid in an equal to or greater value to the prize replaced.

5. The 2011 CuteKid of the Year grand prize winner will receive, in addition to other prizes, a $10,000 '529 investment vehicle' to be established in the name of the winner. Using historical growth rates of the Dow Jones Industrial average and a 16 year timeframe, this investment is projected to grow in excess of $25,000. The investment vehicle will grow over the period up until the child or guardian wishes to withdraw the funds for education purposes only, as noted by the terms of the 529 education investment vehicle. The total prize amount will be solely determined by market factors and investment strategy during the life of the 529 investment vehicle. Parent Media Group, Inc. does not guarantee the final prize amount upon redemption.

6. If a professional photo is submitted to our contests, TheCuteKid will not be held responsible. It is highly recommended that the parent or guardian receive rights to use the photo prior to contest submission.

7. Monthly winners will be announced 10-14 days after winning photo has been selected in each category. Winners will be informed via phone or email, and prizes will be released within 2 weeks of announcement.

8. All prizes will be given as represented unless monthly contest entries are less than a total of 50 entrants per month per category. In this instance, a pro-rated portion of the prizes will be distributed to the winners.

9. Members may enter as many photos to our free themed galleries as desired & may vote accordingly. Please note that a single member is not eligible to be declared as the Grand Prize Gallery winner in more than 2 consecutive running free galleries.

10. Our contests are void where prohibited by law. The contestants assume the total responsibility of knowing their local laws in regard to photo contests and are subject to any local, state, national or international laws. TheCuteKid™ accepts no responsibility for making these individual legal determinations.

11. Mail-in submissions will be subject to the following guidelines:

     1. The CuteKid is not responsible for lost or damaged photos.
     2. Mailed in photos must be no larger than 5" x 7".
     3. Photos will be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included with the mail-in entry. Winners' photos will not be returned, due to possible publishing use.
     4. Mailed in pictures must be accompanied by the following items which will allow us to place the photos in the proper member account. a. Member account, email address and password (for authentication purposes), child’s name and brief caption (optional), check for $19.95 per photo; payable to: Parent Media Group, Inc. Address: 3020-I Prosperity Church Road, Suite 265 Charlotte, NC 28269. Note: A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.

12. Please ensure your information is completed accurately. The CuteKid will not be responsible for photos being placed in the wrong CuteKid categories due to inaccurate information submitted by entrant. Categories are set by child's birth date.
